Microblading is a feathering motion that mimics real brow hair and is tailor made to suit your individual cosmetic needs.
Each procedure is bespoke and will be delivered to the highest of industry standards.
Consultations
We offer a consultation which can be carried out on a separate day or before your treatment.
All aspects of client knowledge, requirements and expectations are discussed ensuring each client is medically suitable to undergo our services.
Skin types
Pigment is implanted into the out layers of the skin and will last anywhere between 9 - 18 months depending on skin types.
Drier skin types tend to retain the pigment far more effectively than oiler skin types.
The procedure
You will be asked to fill out a medical and consent from prior to your procedure.
Your artist will design a brow design to represent the shape we intend to create in proportion to your unique facial structure.
The golden ratio
Is associated with aesthetic perfection and can be extremely useful when shaping eyebrows, we use this technique when mapping your brows along with other measuring tools.
The sensation of etching on the skin can be felt but with topical anaesthetic you should stay comfortable.
Healing
Immediately after your appointment the brow tattoo will look a lot darker, whilst most people are comfortable walking away from their appointment right away others shy away for a few days until the pigments settles down and fades.
Your artist will guide you through the correct after care during your appointment.
Colour boosts
It is recommended to keep your brows refreshed with regular colour boosts between 9 - 18 months.
A hugely popular treatment since 2017, this technique is fast becoming a popular alternative to microblading and can also help to camouflage old faded tattooing. Depending on your type of eyebrow growth, brow colour and skin type, you may be better suited to this very natural form of brow tattooing.
Unlike the “block” tattooing of the past, our artists utilise an “airbrushing” technique along the skin, where a series of infinitely fine dots of pigment are implanted into the skin to give a ‘mist” of colour along the skin.
You can discuss the option with your artist to build more intense colour in sparse areas such as the arch and tail for an ombré effect. The healed results looks very similar to our less permanent treatment Henna Brows and will minimise the use of eyebrow products as we have created background shading where you need it most.
This is a cosmetic tattoo procedure, therefore the healing and aftercare needs to be given as much attention as a regular brow tattoo

Your brows will experience noticeable changes throughout the healing process.
The brows are fresh from their treatment and the ink is sat on the surface so they will appear dark and bold until it's had enough time to settle.
This is all to be expected as the skin starts to repair itself.
It is strongly advised that you wash the area during this time with a cotton pad and sterile water, this is to ensure you wipe away any access lymph which if left, which can cause excess scabbing.
Try sleeping with a fresh pillow case to reduce the chances of an infection and keep fingers off.
You will experience light scabbing and flakiness, you must not pick, you will cause bad results and scarring. Colour will appear light and patchy.
Clients will vary but generally speaking you will start to see your brows coming back, they might seem patchy and uneven until your second visit.
An assessment will be carried out to see how well your skin has retained the pigment and corrections be made at the second visit, we are able to make adjustments depending on how your skin has healed.
Following the first 10 days SPF is important for the longevity of your micropigmentation.
Do not sweat excessively for 10 days.
Sweat contains salt and can infect and prematurely fade your brow tattoo. Salt in the sweat may also alter the colour of your tattoo.
Moderate exercise is fine.
Allow your brows a minimum of 4 weeks to heal before booking a touch up. It takes a full 4 weeks for the colour to settle.
Everyones result will vary due to skin type, lifestyle and after care.
Touch ups are done on average every 6 - 24 months to maintain you brow tattoo.
How old do you have to be to have treatment?
You have to be 18 to have semi permanent makeup. Who is suitable for semi-permanent makeup? Most people are suitable for semi-permanent makeup!
Microblading is more suitable for normal to dry skin types and Powder brows are suitable for all skin types.
However there are a few things that may not allow you to have spmu or you may need a Doctors' permission to have the procedure. If you are concerned or worried about whether you can have the treatment please feel free to contact us.
Below is a list of contraindications that may make you unsuitable for spmu:
Can I have semi-permanent makeup if I am pregnant or nursing?
No. You must wait at least 12 weeks after having the baby for any spmu, otherwise the hormones will push the pigment out of the skin. If you are nursing then fabulous, enjoy that time with baby. Once finished wait 12 weeks for your hormones to die down and then you can have spmu.
How long does it last?
Semi-permenant makeup fades over time. This depends entirely on your skin type, lifestyle, health and what method we choose to go for (colour/pigment chosen).Lighter pigments fade quicker.
All these factors can cause the cosmetic tattoo to fade faster.
Who benefits from semi-permanent makeup?
Everyone does! It’s suitable for men and women. It can benefit people that:
How many treatments are needed (brows)?
A minimum of two treatments 4-8 weeks apart are needed. Semi permanent makeup is a process and not complete in one session, it’s a two step process and on occasion a third appointment is needed.
The initial 4-8 week touch up is included in the price however if a third 4-8 week touch up is needed there is an extra cost of £50 for this treatment.
It’s essential to have the second touch up so make sure you are able to attend the appointment 4-8 weeks after your initial appointment before you book.
During the second touch up session we can asses the colour retention and make suitable adjustments if needed, such as go darker. What if my eyebrows are too light after the first appointment? Don’t worry if you feel as if your brows are too light after the first appointment.

How long do they take to heal (brows)?
Brows take 4-8 weeks to heal and for the colour to settle. After 4-8 weeks you have your touch up appointment. If you have a special occasion or a holiday that you want your brows to look perfect for then I suggest having your initial appointment 12 weeks before your occasion. During the healing process (days 1-7) your brows will go really dark.During days 7-10 they start to flake off. Your brows will then go through a period of looking lighter. 2 weeks later the colour will start to resurface . Please note, this is just a guide, everyone heals differently and at different paces.
Does it hurt?
It all depends on your pain threshold, everyone is different and varies in sensitivity. Aesthetic Anaesthetic for numbing, however I find most clients are shocked at how little it hurts.
A few things may affect your sensitivity so avoid the procedure at the time of your menstrual cycle as this will increase discomfort. I also find if a client is on a lot of medication then this may affect your sensitivity too.
Between Microblading and the Ombré brow, my clients say that the ombré brow is less painful and virtually pain free.

If you are unsure whether to have a touch up, please send a clear picture of your brows and I should be able to assess them via message.
